Vanessa is a materials engineer, specialized in polymeric materials, with more than 13 years of experience in the design and formulation of plastic materials for any type of application, incorporating additives and fillers through compounding processes. She is currently a researcher in the AIMPLAS Mechanical Recycling Group. Her current interests include the up-cycling of recycled plastics, decontamination, and the study and evaluation of the recyclability of packaging and other products. She has participated as both a technical coordinator and researcher in multiple projects at regional, national, and international levels.
