Joonas is a Senior Scientist and Project Manager at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. He gained a master’s degree in polymer technology and biomaterials science from Tampere University of Technology in 2003. He has 20 years of industry experience in plastic materials R&D and process development. Joonas joined VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland 2 years ago in the Materials Processing and Circular Solutions research group and been participating in EU- and Customer-projects focusing on circular plastics and plastics mechanical recycling.
