Alena is the director of strategy and sustainability for Avery Dennison’s Materials Group EMENA. Alena is responsible for driving the sustainability strategy to achieve a more sustainable product portfolio and progress the business towards its 2030 goals. Her key areas of focus are the role of labels in packaging recyclability, packaging circularity, carbon reduction and circular business models. Alena is passionate about solving complex packaging challenges across the value chain and believes that labels, small though they may be, are a key strategic tool to drive consumer conversations and support business sustainability efforts.
