EXPO POSTPONED TO 2021

On-going uncertainty created by Coronavirus pandemic has led to the decision to delay the Compounding World Expo and its co-located shows until 1-2 June 2021.

Rita Andrews, head of exhibitions at AMI, said “We have been reviewing the fast-changing situation daily, and we have been consulting with exhibitors, Messe Essen, local government and health authorities. Our primary concerns are for the health and safety of all attendees at our events, and delivering the very best audience for our exhibitors. With these factors in mind, we have taken the decision to postpone the expos”.

Florian Riedl

Director Business Development

Florian Riedl is Director Business Development at the company APK AG. APK owns a special solventbased recycling technology (Newcycling®) that enables the separation of the polymers in multi-layer packaging and mixed plastic waste. Florian Riedl is leading the purchasing, sales and business development department of the Newcycling® division. One of his key responsibilities is the development of strategic suppliers, customers and partners. 

He graduated in Plastics Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences of Rosenheim (Germany), with the degree Dipl.-Ing. (FH). He started his career in the sales and project management for under water pelletizing machinery for the plastics industry. Later on he moved to an international chemical company, in the sales for plastic additives in Germany. In 2015 he finally started at APK.
