Venetia Spencer works in the Sustainability & Public Affairs team at Borealis, leading the companies European public affairs work. Borealis is one of the world’s leading providers of advanced and sustainable polyolefin solutions and a European front-runner in polyolefins recycling. Prior to joining Borealis in March, she was Secretary-General of the Polyolefins Circular Economy Platform, a value chain organisation committed to advancing the transition to a circular polyolefin economy. Before focusing on the sustainability of polyolefins, Venetia spent more than a decade as a consultant in Brussels advising clients on European and International environmental policy issues, from the big-picture policy to the technical nitty-gritty. She studied Physics at Imperial College, London and is dual national British/Belgian.
