Born in Düren, Julian Thielen lives and works in Cologne. After studying Process Engineering Paper and Packaging (B. Eng) in Munich and Packaging Technology (M. Eng) at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences, he worked as a Business Development Engineer in the USA and then in Application Engineering at Bischof + Klein in Lengerich, Germany. At the beginning of 2018, he then started working for Interseroh in Cologne, in order to meet the new challenges of the New German Packaging Law and to promote recyclable packaging design in the "Made For Recycling" department which he is leading today with a team of four colleagues.
